Achievement Hunter Presents: GO! #20

Okay, if you had the chance to present RT to someone (to get them interested/to showcase how great these guys are) what videos would you pick?

Phew, that’s always a tough question. First, I’d stress that there’s a LOT of content to cover, a LOT of names to learn, and that no matter what video they’d be shown, it’ll take a little while to really get everything. (Why is Michael so mean to Gavin? Why do Gavin and Geoff talk about these weird what-if questions? Is that guy really a huge stoner who hates cake? Wait, I can’t tell Jack and Ryan apart.)

Basically, I’ve found that getting someone into RT can be a challenge, but if they’re willing to look into them for more than a few minutes (the true downfall of it all being that the Internet Attention Span for Youtube Videos is around four minutes, but AH content at large is like asking them for dedication to a new television show with two-hour monopoly playing specials.) here’s what I have:

Depending on the kind of person I’d be introducing them to, I’d try to steer in the direction of their interests as well. Let’s Plays are fun and hilarious, but it’s easier to convince a skeptic of that after saying “So, Gavin from that animated short plays Minecraft with his friends and it’s pretty funny too.” or vice versa, “Geoff tells even better stories on old episodes of their podcast, if you want to try those out, and he also does voice acting on this thing.”

Also the family feud lp because it’s a work of art
